Kate's plum experiment...
So we don't typically give Kate the WHOLE fruit when we feed her. Today though, Katelyn stole Mommy's plum at breakfast and just starting noshing on it! I never thought those two baby teeth could do such damage, but she tore into it and loved it!

Katelyn, meet Chick...

Oh my, it's so furry!
Now I'm sort of okay with this! (and then the chick pooped on her leg!)The chick introduced Katelyn to quite a challenge. Daddy was intent on keeping that cute little chick in her lap until she was comfortable with it...
Delaware State Fair...
This was Kate's first meet-n-greet with an animal at the fair, someone had their goat on a leash. She was pretty good about this one - same size!
The piglet was not furry, which equals not so much fun!
The bigger goat was not nearly as fun as the small one, but she tried - at least he was softer...
Kate had a good time at the fair this weekend...unfortunately, she was a bit overtired, or I think she would have enjoyed the furry animals a bit more. However, we got some good shots of her trying to be okay with being near a piggy, a goat, and a donkey. Mostly she thought touching each was a good idea, then decided against it and would make this really funny shrieking sound!

Kate helped Aunt Kim learn a little something about taking care of babies since she will need the expertise in just a few short months! They've both got some good funny faces!

Happy July 4th!
Kate spent her first 4th with her cousins Paige and Brooke who couldn't get enough of her...

Yes, after all the urging from family and friends, we finally had Kate's locks cut a little bit. Mommy was sad, but now Kate can see without all that hair in her eyes!
More vacation pics..
Katelyn and Mommy made a visit to Erin Higgins, one of mommy's old teammates, and Kate had a dip in the pool with Stella...they actually both DO have suit bottoms on!

After a long day, we had dinner at Outback with the Judy's, but Kate was more interested in our coasters than the food...
First time at the beach!!
Katelyn had her first beach experience last week at Cape Henlopen in Delaware. Daddy introduced her to the waves but she wasn't a huge fan.
