Kate's favorite spots...

Kate loves her bean bag chair from Nana Fo for Christmas!

And she's started being really good at sitting quietly with her books on the recliner of all places...

And thanks to Nana Fo, her new fave is her toy box. Yes, IN her toy box. But hey, if you had access to one toy or ALL of them all at once, which would you choose?

I can't get enough of this face!

This is Kate trying to dress like Mommy to fend off the cold...

And this is her precious "scrunchy-face" that we see so often!

What's this stuff falling from the sky?

Thirsty, Thirsty!

How cute is this little pink bear "hunting" hat? It comes with really cute mittens too, but those were long gone by the time this pic was taken...

Sweet and cuddly before bedtime... Kate's obsessed with hair - her own, mommy's, daddy's - and it's her little calming mechanism when she's sleepy. Precious.

GO RAVENS!!!

This is either "Touchdown!" or "All Done!" which we've taught Katelyn to do after she's done eating...ya know, instead of simply tossing her food to the floor.
And yes, my little girl looks like a little boy in her Ravens jersey. And as much as I try to put that pretty purple clip in her hair to make it clear, she rips it right out. So for anyone out there wondering why I don't spend more time controlling that 'do - it's impossible!!
We're all pretty psyched that both the Eagles AND the Ravens are in their respective championship games, and moving closer to the Super Bowl this year. It's very exciting, but living in Baltimore, you can't help but bleed purple these days! Go Flacco!

Family Photos...

We had a little photo shoot with the Judy family at Dover Downs. It was fun to have the whole fam together, and get some great shots of the whole crew. Kate was a ham most of the day, loving the attention of the camera!

A look back at the holidays...

Random cutie pics...

I was able to borrow some pics from Jesse's dad, and grabbed a couple extra cute ones that I really liked. Thank you!

Isn't this a nice family pic? It was determined that we caught her after naptime, which is why she's so calm and cuddly!
Hot stuff!

When we take Katelyn out to eat, it's always a risk to see how she'll behave. However, sometimes it's just a few simple things to keep her attention, like sugar packets!

So Kate has several baby dolls, and we're waiting to see if she attaches to any of them as her little buddy. Usually she gives them a quick snuggle, and then tosses them aside. Here, I'm scared for the poor doll - look at that face!

Katelyn, meet Bunny...

Happy New Year!!

Getting up close and personal with soon-to-be-aunt Heather's bunny. And below, another box boat, yay!!

Home again Home again...

Finally home for a few days at the end of the holiday break, so Mommy and Kate spent some time at the playground.

I couldn't resist! How cute is cousin Leah!! So adorable, and so much like Kate when she was 4-5 months old (just much tinier!).

A swing with Uncle Josh, and a snapshot of the two wee ones doing their "thing" - that being wiggling a lot on the floor and making funny noises!

More visits!

Katelyn was so happy to have lots of space to run outside when we visited her Great Grandma and Grandpa in Maryland on Friday. She spent lots of time collecting the stones from the driveway!

As I've mentioned, Katelyn can't stand to watch her baby cousins being held without getting right in there herself, so we gave her another opportunity here. She is really good with it now and even tries to give Evan his pacifier over and over, even if he doesn't want it!
And aren't boxes just the best toy ever!! Drag Kate around in a "box boat" and she's thrilled. Back-breaking, yes, but for a happy kid, sometimes we'll do anything!

Girls don't drive trucks!?!?! This dress is crampin' my style!

And a few more...

A nice family picture by the Christmas tree. Below, Katelyn shows off her fancy party dress, models Paige's purse (she LOVES purses these days, it's so cute to watch her put them on her shoulder and carry them around like she's so important), and visits with Nana and Papou before we head down to Maryland/Delaware for the rest of the weekend.

Merry Christmas Katelyn!!

I must say that this was a fun holiday with Katelyn this year. She's not quite old enough to be so into the presents that she tore into them or anything, but she was certainly wowed by all the colors and fun paper, the lights on the tree, and was generally peaceful during unwrapping, tearing a little corner of almost every single present, no matter whose it was, just to see what would happen. Unfortunately, just about everyone around us caught the stomach bug sometime around the holiday, so it was a little odd and different, but enjoyable nonetheless!
