Silly girl, silly pics...

80's workout video anyone?

Kate loves to give us her "flutter eyes"...

the kissy face...

Ravens Sunday!

Somebody got sleepy, and for some reason decided to make herself a little bed...under the coffee table...really?

Bath foam!!!!

Hello? Yes, that is a computer mouse, not a phone...ah, who cares. Hello?

Our first house!!

Soooo....we finally bought a HOUSE!!!
Here it is, our little rancher in Towson. We close December 18th (holy crap!) and are very, very excited for the adventure that awaits us. Yes, excited. And scared. And well, relatively unsure of what we've actually gotten ourselves into!

Nothing exciting...

My little baker in training...

A small (think "one day's worth") smattering of Katelyn's artwork from school... yes, we get about this much every day and they make us do the feel-bad deed of throwing away most of it! [C'mon now - our fridge is only so big. And how keepsake-y is a white piece of paper with two green lines on it anyway!]

Posing for the camera!

Awwww....did we actually get a shot like this recently?!?! In toddler-dom we see RARE moments of gentle cuddles!!

I promised a friend that I would do the two-year comparison photos, and I forgot to do it until tonight, so here ya go! Wild how far we've come from that night in the hospital on the top left to the little one with the boy haircut who toddled about a year ago, to the wild-haired big girl who walks and talks and reads books and sings songs on the bottom!

Thank you everyone!

Thank you to everyone who sent birthday cards and presents to our little two-year-old! She had a really great weekend full of birthday fun, and we are fortunate to have friends and family who love her so much. Another birthday in the books...let's hope she forget about all the Halloween candy as we start a brand new week :o)

Trick or Treat!

Kate's first Trick-or-Treat experience was so much fun! She was so good throughout our entire walk around the neighborhood, and more than once, she walked away from the houses saying "More!" before the people we had just visited had even closed their doors!

Birthday Party!

For Kate's birthday, we decided to host a pre-game tailgate at Towson's football game on Halloween. The weather was less than ideal, with soggy ground and intermittent rain limiting the party attendance, but Kate had fun anyway. Moon bounce fun, plenty of snacks, face painting, pumpkin painting - which proved to be a fantastic activity for our little perfectionist! - and a costume parade around the stadium. It was a good day with friends and family!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATELYN!

So our baby girl is two... The day started as it did last year, with blueberry pancakes and daycare. But this year, Kate's school had a little Halloween parade in the Towson Center arena with all her little friends. She scored big time on the candy front! And as usual, her birthday continued through the weekend as family came and went - who doesn't love an extended birthday!
