Hanging with Evan...

Check out my (er, Evan's) ride...

Visited the fam in Dover last weekend, and Kate got to test drive Evan's new Kawasaki! She loved it, and was pretty good about "sharing" and helping scoot the little guy around his yard since he doesn't quite hold the button in long enough for a decent cruise...

Doin some tricks...

Best of Friends...

Last Wednesday, there was a water outage in town, and we got an unexpected day off from work (yay!); however, that also meant no daycare for Kate. So we offered to watch Kate's buddy Brenley from school, and the two girls had a *blast* playing all day...

"Hi Kate" "Hey Bren"
It was another scorcher, so the girls took advantage of Kate's new pool and spent most of the afternoon splashing like crazy until they were just too tired and wrinkly...
Gettin' a lil' crazy up in here...
One of their "tricks" in the pool was this coordinated effort of belly flopping into and out of the pool. I'm pretty sure I was laughing for an entire hour or so watching these two... I'm sure they're quite a hit in their classroom...

And you're going to have to take my word for it, but we literally have six movies on our camera of this "jumper jacks" shenanigans! Hysterical, somehow rehearsed (I guess at school?), and leeeengthy... I picked this one in particular to share because if the activity itself isn't funny enough (and the synchronization of their plop into the water!) then ... well, you'll see. We enjoyed it!

Soccer!!eek

Thanks to Aunt Kimmie and Uncle Joshie, we have this sweet Nike outfit for Kate, and last week we needed the summer outfits with the 80+ degree weather. Too bad she ran around using her new softball glove and ball yelling "Soccer!!" excitedly... this may be the last Nike outfit she gets away with if she can't get her sports straight :o)

Happy Easter!

Easter morning loot. Not a great picture, I know, but this is what you get early in the morning at our house... lucky lucky! :o)

Seems like so few and far between with family pictures these days...

Daddy did some "fishing" with Kate and Mav in Uncle Denny's pond. Mav turned out to be quite the seasoned fisherman compared to my two!

Kate did her shy act again before warming up to the girls after the egg hunt.

The Easter Bunny's on the loose!

We volunteered at a bull roast fund-raiser at Towson and they had an egg hunt for the "kids" which ended up being 3 children of Towson employees, and none from the people actually attending the bull roast, but oh well, it meant plenty of eggs for our little ones, and quite a scene with the Easter Bunny (which only one child enjoyed!). Kate wanted *nothing* to do with Mr. Bunny, but took advantage of a distracted moment for this little guy to snag some eggs early in the hunt! That's my girl!

Easter Eggs!

Being verrrry careful, Mommy and Daddy helped Kate make some Easter eggs this year. It was fun, once we got past the nerves of her making a disaster of the place with the dye!
