3, going on 13...

I had to post this. I caught Kate, waiting patiently while we looked for birthday-present belts for Daddy at Banana Republic in the mall this week, getting down in front of the mirror. Her outfit is the result of a milk spill at school, and her hair, well, is normally that wild. But I couldn't help but smile watching her groove...I had to stop her when the shirt came up and she started checking out her butt - it's just really too early for her to worry about that!!

By the way, Kate just got those boots from Nana Fo, and they've definitely put her dancing bug into overdrive! She LOVES those boots!

[Semi] snow day!

We opened at noon today at Towson, so we had plenty of time to "enjoy" the snow this morning. I say enjoy for Kate, though for Jesse, it was a solid 3+ hours of shoveling and tunnel-digging, and he was pretty tuckered out before we even got to work today.
We attempted a small snowman, but unfortunately, the snow was soft enough that it wouldn't ball up very well. So what do we do instead? Lie down and eat the snow of course!
Snow tunnels are awesome!
We hit the hill at the local school on the way in to work this morning, as it was on the way and we still had a half hour to kill. Kate enjoyed it just as much as last year.

Disturbing right? ... 36 weeks and counting!

Cha Cha Slide

A couple weeks ago, we went to pick Kate up at school, and she was dancing like crazy to some tunes the teacher had on in the classroom. It was adult dance-y stuff, and it was hysterical. When I realized I had my camera, the stupid card was full, so we only got the end of her Cha Cha Slide, but it's pretty enjoyable nonetheless...

We owe a HUGE thank you to Mom-Mom Judy for our new braided rug. A year ago, they helped us pick out our living room furniture in our new home, and right away she began brainstorming a good color scheme for a rug. And last week it arrived, and it's beautiful! We had to part with a coffee table, and thus, some toy storage, but after some slight re-arranging, we're loving the spacious room. As you'll see below, Kate enjoys having the free space as well!

Happy (belated) New Year!

Not much going on in the New Year, just back to work, bigger baby belly, and hunkering down in our warm house on these frigid days. We have only gotten a little bit of snow when our family in Delaware seems to keep getting hit pretty hard, but we're counting our blessings...we'd rather not have to sled to the hospital next month!

Kate's hair is a tad wild on a normal day, let alone when you introduce electricity/static into the situation!
