Happy Easter!
25 eggs and only a few treats later, Kate spent her Easter morning decked out in her new princess jewelry, watch, and putting as many coins as she could find in her new piggy bank...
Kate's Easter outfit (the same one as last year - GASP!) looking so pretty...

Jack's 2 months old!!
My littlest sweetie is now 2 months old!
The little guy is already growing so fast. We went to the doctor today....
Here are some stats:
13 lbs 10 oz (yes, you're reading this right!) - 75th percentile
22.5 inches - 50th percentile
& he has a gigantic head - 98th percentile (ha!)
- Smiling (mostly at Mommy, sometimes at Kate, the giraffe above his changing table, his Henry Horse book)
- Cooing
- Loves bath-time with his sister
- Still wakes up 1-3 times per night, but will go 4-6 hrs between feedings for the first portion of the night
- Holds head up for minutes at a time when seated or on tummy
- Rolls from belly to back pretty routinely
A little bit 'o Kate...
We finally made our way down to Port Discovery Children's Museum with Kate (& Jack) to check it out - $2 family fun night helped! - and it was pretty enjoyable. There's a ton of stuff for her to do, including...
Making their very own masks...
One of her favorite things was this pretend Royal Farms store, and she went "shopping" for her own basket 'o goodies, and then rung them up at the cash register, which she LOVED because it had buttons and beeped...
And she's now trained to pump our gas for us! They had this VW beetle there and a full size (but not true weight) gas pump there for kids to use, and there was an air hose and the car was open to play inside...pretty cool stuff
We also had to explore the art studio room and paint a quick masterpiece...
Last week - rockin' some nice top-knots!
And I really don't know what goes on in this little girl's mind these days. She's constantly coming up with something outrageous when she's at home, including "outfits" like this one. I hear gardening gloves are all the rage in the fashion world!
A little bit 'o Jack...
Hello!
The kid still sacks out pretty hard now and then....
Jack loves bath time now, especially now that Kate joins him in the tub and "helps" get him clean...
Jack and I headed downtown for the Orioles Opening Day game, which happened to be on a sunny day (and 80+ degrees!) for a change, and he slept the entire time, so I'm not sure he'll remember his first ball game!
Peekaboo!
'sup?
Contrary to all recommendations, Jack enjoys a tummy nap every now and then if his belly is particularly gurgly, and he's just so darn precious when he does...
Smiles are more plentiful these days, especially when I read him "Henry Horse" with a Neigh button!...
And we had to get outdoors the other day when the sun finally appeared for an afternoon walk... Jack sports this cute cap from Kate's hand-me-downs that is slightly large for his head...
Told ya he sacks out every now and then! This was after walking around in the yard outside with me yesterday. I couldn't bear to slide the Bjorn pad out from under him after I unbuckled it from myself!

This and that...
Jack started smiling last week, but he's stingy with how many he gives out each day! I caught glimpses of his gaping-mouth happy face the other day, but it's nothing like when he busts out with a big ol' gummy grin!
As disturbing as this is, it's still amazing how awesome Kate is about being a big sister. She's now full-on pretend mommy to her own dolls as well. Here, she was pretending to pump, just like mommy, for her baby's bottle... I warned you, it's disturbing!
3+ years is quite a size difference, eh?
