We've been busy, mostly just getting through our normal days around here.
Here's a bunch of recent pictures to keep you busy for awhile too!
This Pooh Bear was actually a gift before Kate was born. As stuffed animals go, it was only slightly played with, then stashed away. We pulled it out when Jack was pretty little, to occupy him while we were watching a movie or something, and it was an instant hit. He especially likes Pooh's tiny little ears as a chewy pasttime!

Daddy's lil guy...

Mommy's snuggle bear...

Jesse tries to send me picture messages on my phone pretty regularly on days when I'm out the door before the kiddos are up. Usually it's a variation on the picture below, silly faces and all...

We recently had Kate's buddy over to play. Jack had a ball watching Kate and Brenley!

And on Brenley's way out, Kate insisted she go wave goodbye to them. Unfortunately, they had just stripped down out of their swim suits after a dip in the pool, and Kate found her princess heels, complete with blue fir.... I sincerely hope this isn't a sign of her future! God knows what the neighbors must think!

Dinnertime for Jackson!

I knew it was coming, but the poor kid can't even defend himself yet! Kate insists Jack "plays" with her toys, including Barbie of all things. Like how well he fits into her baby doll stroller?

Cuddles from big sis...

Jack's sitting up pretty well with support, and continues to last longer and longer before toppling over on his own. However, I think the humorous thing about this picture is the fact that probably a second later he was face down on the couch!

We visited Nana and Papou last week for a sleepover, and enjoyed a dip in their pool. They have a cool star shaped innertube that is perfect for Kate and she just buzzed around and around in there for awhile!

Nana Fo was pushing Jack in the swing, and got a bit distracted with Kate asking for her attention. I looked over to see him going pretty fast, and looking quite dismayed. The smushed face is priceless...

Nana's morning buddies...

So way back when Kate was Jack's age, my friend Allison visited from Michigan with her daughter Riley. Allison had Riley 5 days after I had Kate, and we've attempted to keep up with visits whenever they're back in PA. Allison and I now both have little boys as well, hers born on Easter, just slightly younger than Jack. So here is a pic of the first meeting of our girls, one of our boys, and then one of all four of them. The girls got along SO WELL I think it surprised both of us - I actually walked in to the room where they were playing (too quietly) and they were taking turns doing a puzzle - I doubt either of them are so perfectly behaved at daycare, but it was pretty awesome to see! The boys on the other hand did a lot more sleeping and their interaction was minimal :o)

Then further into July 4th weekend we were able to visit with some of the Judy fam in Wilmington. The kids were super excited to use the swing Uncle Jared put up in a tree in their yard - well, the girls were excited, Jack seems not to care so much!

The girls, in matching outfits, enjoyed chasing each other around like they do on most visits!

When Mommy and Daddy are busy with yard-work, Kate's usually pretty good about keeping herself busy on her swing set or sand box... Jack can hang for awhile in his walker outside. When the yard work goes on and on, Kate keeps Jack company and tells him stories out in the yard. It's pretty cute. Here, they keep out of the way of Daddy mowing and enjoy the nice evening together!

Kate enjoys her books so much, that she loves to treat Jack to a good story every now and then. She knows many of her books very well by heart, and Jack just loves to hang out with her in her room...

Feeding the ducks again at the Inner Harbor...

And I guess my little boy likes to be the scantily clad lad as well! He's happiest after his bath when he can roll around in his birthday suit!

A funny little pose after toppling over on the couch recently...

We hit the Towson parade on July 4th, as it's just up the road from our house. Kate enjoyed grabbing some candy as the groups marched past, and danced to some of the many bands that went by...

Jack enjoyed the parade from his luxury box view in Mommy's sling, then proceeded to fall asleep there despite the marching bands' loud music throughout the parade...

Later in the day on the 4th, we visited a friends' party, and basically stayed in the pool the entire time. Kate is an insatiable swimmer. However, she was pouty when we put her in a life-jacket to give her a break from the princess innertube she used most of the day. She's not a fan!

When we FINALLY convinced her she needed to get out of the pool and eat something, we had a little picnic and played some horse shoes...

Then the little miss was VERY sleepy and was giving us some 'tude before we headed home for the evening...

Back at home a few days later, we enjoyed our own little pool on the deck, and Jack lounged in his brand new baby raft...

I love when I hear him wake up happy from his naps and find him peeking over the crib at us when we walk in!

Testing out the sippy cup after a yummy dinner of rice cereal and green beans....mmmmm

Jack's giving the Johnny Jumper a whirl lately and enjoying it for the most part.

Weekends for us regularly include a trip to Panera for coffee and bagels and a little coloring...

My boys hangin on the couch...
