Christmas Eve...

Christmas Eve was finally upon us, and Kate was excited about getting to open the annual 1st present, the Fotiou PJs. However, we figured nudy post-bath pics were not acceptable for sharing, so the kids donned their robes - well, they both donned Jack's robes, which is why Kate's is ridiculously small! - and got into the holiday spirit...

To end the evening, Kate got an email video from Santa, where she learned she made the Nice list this year (she was so psyched about this) before she left some fresh-baked cookies and milk for him on the table. This year was pretty sweet, because she is understanding the holiday a little more, but was slightly concerned about the idea of Santa coming into our house while we were sleeping, which is quite a mature thought for a 4 year old.... must be the city-girl in her!

We can't get enough of watching our kids actually playing together now that Jack is walking. Kate has so much patience for him, and Jack just wants to be near her at all times!

Jack's first taste of celery was a hit at a recent hotel function (toys are scarce at a hotel, what can I say!)

Cruising through the grocery store for some last minute Christmas dinner items...

Bath-time silliness. I chose this one of Kate with her hair out of her face....the other one sort of reminded me of the movie The Ring, and for those of you who have seen it, you can understand how creepy that is!

It was finally time for cookie baking, and oh how Kate and I love to bake together!
