March pics...

And here is a wrap-up of March. It began with the kick-off to the oh-so-busy lacrosse season for Daddy, which turned out to be the only game me and the kids could actually go watch since the rest were at night...hmmm, I'm not sure "watch" is the right term here, but the kids enjoyed being outside and playing in the stadium nonetheless!

Right after the game, we headed up to Isaac's 2nd birthday party, where we learned that Jack LOVES pretzels (after I got over the fear of him choking himself with it!) and of course Kate was super excited about cake and presents...
Look at this cute little pair!
Mmmm, cake!
We're never really sure what happens when he eats....if the food isn't thrown all over the dining room floor, then it winds up in his hair, or resting gently on top of his head like this lonely lil raisin (which is actually from his raisin toast, so it managed to become disengaged with the bread before finding a home there)!
A trying experience...a mom can only remind her daughter so many times that no, while pushing a stroller, I cannot also carry your scooter that you insisted you ride on this walk!

The 3 musketeers (Eve, Kate, Brenley) at school one day... so cute!

I love this hippie look she's got going on. We were trying on dresses for a wedding we're in later this year. And, it was one of the last shots of her long hair, before.....
the big cut! She's all ready, sitting happily in the chair to have her pigtails cut and donated to Locks for Love...

Snip snip... (I'm pretty sure I was more sad than she was to watch them being cut off)

 The lovely results!

At some point in March, the circus was in town, so we decided to make a big trip out of it. The weather was beautiful, so we took a trip downtown, walked around the Harbor, stayed at a hotel, and went to the circus the next morning. It was a really fun trip, and it was so close!

Our lil dancer twirling along the harbor....

Feeding/tormenting the ducks!

Lil man on top of the world...

Cozy bed for such a small girl!

And finally, late in March Kate and I attended my college roomie's bridal shower. Kate was really well-behaved and really enjoyed herself despite it not being very kid-related. She spiced things up in her own way though...

Just for kicks, some random pictures to round out the month...

Have you missed us???

Hello there! Let's just pretend it hasn't been over 3 months since my last update, and move on shall we!
Well, not without some pics to let you know what we were up to all this time, of course. And thanks for checking in with us again, I just heard someone at work today say that if someone visits a site twice and the content hasn't changed, they'll never go back - thanks for coming back!!

Rounding out February...
While cousin Ella was in town, we decided (in error) that it would be a nice idea to take the kids to a park (in the winter) and take cute posed pictures (of squirmy kids) for Nana Fo...the results were less than perfect, but let's give us A for effort!

Then on another chilly day, I took the kids to the zoo while Daddy was traveling with the lacrosse team. Jack really did enjoy it, despite his smushy unhappy appearance here!

Look what hatched in this nest!

We met up with our neighbor Emilee. This nest provided the most entertainment of the day!

Jack loved watching the ducks from this bridge, and sometimes he just settles in and stares at things for awhile and it's pretty cute....
