Well, hello winter!

Of all the snow we got last year, I've never seen Katelyn as excited as she was on Friday when we had the slight dusting we had here in Baltimore. It had stopped and melted before we left work, which upset her a little bit, so when we arrived at our front porch to see the only remaining flakes right there at our feet, she was ecstatic! She played outside the front door for probably 20 minutes, squealing excitedly, eating snow, making hand and footprints, until finally - "Mommy.....my hands are chilllly" so we headed indoors!

Last weekend we made a trip down to Arundel Mills Mall, which is enormous, and has a huge Bass Pro Shop at one end. We spent much of our time there playing, and (trying to) visit Santa - unsuccessfully. Kate enjoyed a little hunting excursion with her daddy in the store!
Mommy and Daddy went to the Ravens-Steelers game last Sunday night, so Kate was able to have a sleepover with her best bud Brenley. As excited as she was all weekend leading up to her play-date, she couldn't roust herself from her nap earlier that day, and promptly zonked out again with daddy after "waking up"!
