What a long weekend...

Happy Thanksgiving!

Our little fam spent Thanksgiving in Connecticut with Jesse's oldest brother Jason and his wife Erica, at their new - beautiful - house.

Aunt Kimberly and her little nugget Evan were there as well...

Kate spent some Q.T. with her grandparents all weekend and we were SO THANKFUL for their help! (didn't realize they had her eating bubble wands, but I'm sure she's fine. Right? :o) Below, Kate's outdoor adventures had her searching for mini pine cones along the lane.

Aunt Erica had to work on Friday so we went to visit her at the hunt club where she works and visit the horsies. Kate wasn't all that into them this time (thank goodness - we can't afford that hobby!) but she did enjoy watching them riding from afar.

Bundled up...

Lovin' her cuz!

Katelyn is a kisser these days! She even makes little smacking noises now when she gives them! She also is very gentle with her wee cousin Evan, at least at first. Eventually, though, she just can't stand not having control and being able to just pick him up and toss him around like her other toys, so we tried plopping him in her lap a few weeks ago to see how it went...with plenty of supervision of course!

Weekend at Grandmom's...

Katelyn had a sleepover at Grandmom and Grandad's last weekend, while mommy and daddy spent the weekend in Ocean City for mommy's birthday. She slept so well, she had a great case of bed-head in the morning!

Apparently, she put herself to bed with her bedtime book!

Despite the cold weather, Kate got a little time outside for some fall fun. She loves her swing!
And no one said she isn't a trouble-maker! One of her favorite games over the weekend was "boxes." She also spent some time searching the phone book for a good pizza place!

This shot is a little older, at the Towson-UD football game. It was quite rainy, and Kate was sleepy but she always finds time for patty-cake!

Winter's on its way...

Thank goodness winter is around the corner. Kate LOVES her coats...ALL of them! And she will bring us every last one and hold her arms out until they're on, even if it won't fit. Then she stumbles all around the house because she's so top-heavy! One of the many things that amuses us day to day about our little "bundle!"

How big is Katelyn?

SO BIG!!
While in PA for Kate's birthday, we just had to take her to the infamous Oley Valley Dairy. In a town with mucho farmland, it's only natural to have a petting zoo, corn maze, and yummy ice cream just around the corner. Kate really enjoyed the trip, strolling around to visit the animals (her fave was the HUGE hog for some reason, I think because it kept snorting at her and grabbing her attention). She also played on all the slides in the plastic playland they had set up for little young-ins like Katelyn, but would get quite upset when the slide ended!

Birthday Celebration #3...

It was a little warm after the festivities at Nana and Papou's house for Kate's bday celebration, so that explains the "birthday suit!"

Kate really enjoyed herself at the Pennsylvania birthday party. Lots of kids around, lots of toys, lots of commotion - she was in heaven!

Happy Halloween!

Kate had a ladybug costume that didn't quite fit, but her pumpkin outfit was super cute, so she sported that all day and night. However, she wanted so badly to wear the ladybug hat that morning that we just had to give in... instead, she's a ladybug crawling out of a pumpkin. That happens, right?
