Kate's buddy Morgan...

Mommy had her alumnae field hockey tournament this weekend, and boy was it a scorcher! Mommy's friends were there with their little girls too, which was wonderful for Katelyn - she and Morgan were best buds by day's end!

So, Mommy went for a workout the other day, and little miss Katelyn was not at all happy about it, but she was so tired, that she simply cried her little self to sleep right there by the door! I didn't even wake her when I came back!

In my defense, NONE of this is from us! And most of it is healthy...

Just the girls...

Kate got to hang out with her cousins over Easter weekend (Brooke and Paige above, Shea below) and the girls were amazing with little Kate. The minute we walked into their house, they were so excited at what Kate was wearing because they had similar shirts, and immediately ran to their rooms to change! So the rest of the day these three were a fun little set of triplets, it was so cute!

Um, hello big girl! She's growing up so fast!

National Zoo - Kate's comin' home!

We took our little (sick) monkey to the National Zoo in DC since we were in town for the weekend. She seemed to be feeling better (this was before the doc diagnosed the ear infection), so we ventured out for a few hours on another beautiful spring day. Turns out, she was not feeling much better, but was able to take in the sights a little better than the day before. Generally, there was a lot of pointing, waving, and petting fake animals that were placed around the grounds. Then she pepped up for a quick stop for dinner. Yes, that's her shoe on the table. It was one of those days where whatever makes her happy, makes us happy. Don't judge, ya'll have been there!...

Windy...in DC

Went to DC for Cherry Blossom weekend a few days ago, and oh my gosh...windiest day ever (hence the hair-in-our-faces pic above - ya know, for the full effect). We were a little surprised there were still so many blossoms on the trees, but it was pretty, and nice day. That is, it was nice outside, poor Katelyn was a little under the weather all weekend, and spent most of her day lying on our shoulders in a sleepy funk. Turns out she has an ear infection, her first, and has started feeling much better with medicine, thank goodness.
